The Death of Forever

The Death of Forever

This book really rocked me hard when I first read it. It begins by looking at the suggested soup of DNA that we all came from – the amorphous pool of life as a single entity from which ALL was spawned. It postulates that by breaking away from the gloop and becoming multiple distinct beings which have a ‘seal’ or skin flagged “the death of forever”. We entered the temporal world. This fundamental decision to have a limited timespan of life by inhabiting a body that would run towards entropy was a trade against all collectively living together forver as ‘gloop’. It’s a book about evolution and time. It’s heavy – I love it.
